TIER2 Sponsor License Revoked:Effects on ILR

Post by kasyap » Tue Jun 30, 2015 2:28 pm

Hi All,

I am looking to know the effect on ILR when we have TIER2 Sponsor License revoked.

I am working in TIER2 General from OCT 2013,where in my sponsor license was revoked in March 2015.My sponsor informed in in March 2015 and they paid my salary and taxes till 13th March 2015.I haven't received any curtailment letter. My sponsor told me that if i can't find any other sponsor with in 60 days,i have to leave the country.

After that i applied for Jobs and got a new sponsor, they issued me a CoS valid from 05 May 2015,i went to same day appointment on April 23rd and got my visa.I started the job with My new sponsor from 5th May 2015 and then on wards my new sponsor is Paying the Tax.

As i didn't paid my taxes from 13th March to 5th May 2015(52 days) during the period where i am looking for new sponsor, will it have any impact while applying for ILR?Does this accounts as a break in my continual 5 years. Please advise.

To my knowledge this wont affect your ILR application as you have started a new job within 60 days of curtailment.
This is also NOT considered as break in your employment. You are perfectly fine.

Hi,my earlier sponsor was not telling the exact reasons for the Revoke. There was a visit from UKVA for audit and it seems they found some discrepancy in SMS and roles in the Company as i understood. They sent a letter of License revocation to Company with no appeal rights and no permit to apply license for at-least six months but none of the employees got Curtailment letters.
