Tier2 Visa

Post by sssr » Thu Apr 23, 2015 3:02 pm

Hello everyone,

This is regarding Tier2 Visa cooling off period. I was working on Tier2 visa (expires on June 2016) from May 2014-March 2015. Unfortunatley, my projcect is now closed and my sponsor informed about my termination to home office on March 13th 2015.
Since, then I am waiting to recieve the letter from home office and hoping to get confirmation that I will have atleast 60 days time to find a new sponsor. My sponsor said usually they take 2 weeks and 60 days count from the date I recieve the letter.

My question is does anyone know about such situation and do I need to wait for the letter or contact them?

Hope to hear from you and thanks in advance.

Regards,
Sssr

what is the question? is it about cooling off time or not?
U will get 60 days after you get the letter. However, ukvi sending the letter can take much longer, sometimes even months. What you need to do in meantime is find a new contract/sponsor asap.
If you cant find one till u have the visa (curtailed leave, which u will be notified in near future), u will have to go back and serve 1 year cooling off time before you can apply a new leave again.
