Timelines for MN1 form approval and British Passport for a child

Post by drshashi » Sat Apr 02, 2022 10:33 pm

Hey all can someone tell me how long does it take for a MN1 form approval and registration as a British citizen. Also for subsequent passport application for a child less than 7 years? I need to travel abroad in June end. Is it possible to get these 2 things done within the next 3 months?
I have recently received my ILR and the child was born in UK.
Thanks

Have a look at these timeline threads:
MN1 - british-citizenship/mn1-registration-ap ... l#p2062764
Passport - british-citizenship/british-passport-ap ... l#p2063622

For childrens' first passport there's an express service available: https://www.gov.uk/get-a-passport-urgently

It's probably difficult to achieve both applications in three months .... no express service for MN1.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
