Any one who did biometric on or after 21st Feb?

Hi guys

I did my biometric on 21st feb 2012. Still no reply from UKBA?
On web site it says,"We are currently considering applications where the applicant attended a biometric appointment on or before 12 March 2012."

Any one received passport or BRP who attended biometric after 21st feb?

I had done my biometrics on 22nd of Feb...still not a word from UKBA. I am thinking of pulling my application back, i need to travel back home urgently.

Anyone else in this timeline have received their passport and/or BRP?

I did biometrics on 23rd Feb and I send a royal mail special delivery envelope with my application and made a note of the tracking number. Now on the royal mail website it is saying my package is on its way and should be delivered this morning - so i'm just hoping and praying all processed fine.

Yep, received yesterday and BRP will be delivered today since I called dx secure and they confirmed.

:cry: I have asked my agency to cancel the application, i need to travel back home urgently. Any idea how long it takes to get back the passport if application is cancelled?

Withdrawing your application will create lot of problem for you in future particularly when if your visa is already expired. I suggest you to send a FAX or letter to the immigration officer in sheffield. You can get the address or the fax from the help desk.

I did my biometric on 29th Feb and had real emergency to travel to my country. I had sent 4 Fax and i received my passport last monday.

I just got the letter requesting to attend biometrics. I have already done it on 22nd of Feb. Is this normal to get the request again?, should i contact someone and say mine is already done?

I think It all depend on type and complexity of application.

My situation got more weird. I received one more biometric invitation letter, though i had done my biometrics was done on 22nd Feb. Law firm which represents me have sent the letter back to UKBA, but i have asked them to pull my application back as i need to travel immediately and might not return to UK soon.

Hi Guys,

UKBA has approved my visa.
I received my passport and documents yesterday, and my BRP will come within 2 days..
Many thnx for all the support and wishes...I hope everyone will get their visa soon...

Not sure, i called UKBA helpline and they said send it back to UKBA telling you had already done biometrics. I reported the same to my law firm and they said they will take care of it.

Its been a nightmare i tell you!

I have done my biometric on 18 April 2012. Till date I didn't hear from them. Now thinking of sending letter to them.

Anyone pls tell me... who will I do addressed to and which address should I use to send the letter?
