Naturalisation Time Line - Too Long...

Most of the people on the forum have to wait for more than 6 months and in some cases more than a year - That is too long.....

Do any one come across any news or update or any relating from UKBA to look into this matter.

Look at the timeline thread, it is certainly much less than "more than 6 months" on average.

Ours was 4 months and monitoring others who applied about the same time, I think everyone got theirs within a couple of weeks of ours.

Given it is a privilege and not a right there is little that is to be looked into. Everyone applying has the right to be here without restriction as that is one of the conditions of application plus you have the option of retaining documents via the NCS service (unlike applying for EEA routes)

It would be a privilege if it was free to apply for over £800 its a right and should be down it less than a month the lead time on this is a joke

You have to pay for many privileges in life.

To be honest, yes it would be nicer if it was quicker and less stressful but at least with it you get to keep your documents, still travel etc and if the answers no then you keep on as you were before.

Try applying for PR as a non-EEA member where you lose your passport for 4-6 months, cannot travel (as no passport) and if the answer is no your out the country
