Schengen visa (Paris Trip for 2/3 Days) from Manchester (UK)

Hi,

If any one can give/guide me through the Schengen visa. I want to make a trip to Paris for 2/3 days in July 2012.

Currently I am in Manchester (UK) & want to travel Paris only by car.

Pls share me Visa Fees, Days required to get Visa.

What is your status here in UK? visitor or member of EEA National or student?
