Long residence time spent out side

Post by arp » Sun Jun 17, 2012 10:17 pm

Hello,
I planning to apply for ILR on long residence 10 years basis and got some doubts to clarify on total no of days spent outside UK
In my case
Total no of days out of UK : 270
2005 : 26 days out
2006 : 38 days out
2007 : 25 days out
2008: 129 days out (nearly 4 months)
2009 : 11 days out
2010 : 15 days out
2012 : 19 days out

On the guide notes it says you can absent for 6 months at a one time. But many people say you can only absent for 3 months.
As I have not away for more than 6 months at given time am I eligible to apply for ILR ?

Many Thanks,
ARP
