insurance for my wife i need help

insurance for my wife i need help

me and my wife have got married and we sent all documents to home office
for eea2 application...........im self employed and my wife is a student until july 31 2012 when her student visa runs out ,she is working part time is her national insurance number sufficent ......or do we have to take out different insurance ........hope you can help

As you, the EEA national, is a (self employed) worker, no additional insurance is needed.

cheers for your help jambo just 1 more question we applied by solicitor for eea 2 aplication on june 8 still no coa...over 5 weeks now.... i emailed her today she said she hasnt heard from ukba yet.........??

Follow other members' posts here to compare. I think 5 weeks in not unusual nowadays. Is the CoA required for work or travel? You can try and contact the HO directly and ask for it (you might need the post tracking reference for them to find your application).

same here; we sent our eea1 + eea2 applications on May 28.
no response from ukba yet.

i will start calling them next week.

maybe the olympics have something to do with it
and now i read about ukba offices wanting to go on strike
not good for for us, not good at all :(
