OCI tracking and status messages

hi

while tracking OCI, do i need to put all the data ie. passport number, acknowledgement number and GBRLI no? Which passport number is required? Indian or British?

submitted OCI by post to london, about 3 weeks ago. Put the GBRLI number on the tracking website and got following, slightly confusing messages:

first message underneath the boxes to enter various data:

"Application with this number not yet Acknowledged or Wrong Passport Number."

second message under Application Status

"Registration Status at Mission :
Documents Printing Status:
Dispatched From MOIA (OCI ): NEW DELHI On NOT DISPATCHED
Documents Received at NOT YET

can someone shed any light on this?

You need put both the UK Passport number and the Application number. It takes more than 2 wks for this to show up, if you sent it by post.
