Date of receipt of acknowledgement: 25th August 2012 (Dated 21st Aug)
Date of receipt of approval: 25/10/12. Letter dated 19/10/12
Date of Ceremony: 27/11/12. But might change it to an earlier private ceremony if available.

Finally, the most awaited four brown envelops arrived this morning along with a ceremony invitation letter from the council.

I rang the council today as instructed on the letter and they told me to call back on Monday as according to them my letter has gone out too early.

I am very happy person today

. Wife and son not very happy/enthused, as they will be taking up British nationalityand will need to give up Indian nationality. Aproval came in three separate envelopes, one each for me, wife and son.
Best of luck for those waiting, i know how difficult is the wait. Finally for me, the roller coaster ride for British citizenship is over and looking forward to getting that Red British passport now.

I have just completed the ceremony. As it was only for my wife and myself it took 15 mins. The atmosphere was really nice and everyone were so polite to make you feel proud to be British. I am now off to passport application and see you at Passport Application Timeline :D

Passport arrival date: 13/11/2012

Total time from Naturalisation to Passport is exactly 11 weeks.
