By the blessing of god almighty, I have received my approval letter today in post.
Just for your info, I have applied in July 2011, on 5 years residency (was 7 years in my case) and also an Irish association.
Good luck to everyone waiting
I will update you about ceremony dates etc later.

hello what is happening ,do any body got any update from inis,i contacted them and they told me still waiting for garda report,it is getting ridiculous now as i am waiting nearly three years and they r still waiting for guarda report ,this report only takes two weeks  they r very quick in increasing taxes and fees for every thing, but what about efficiency ,they r still slow and living in old world. :(

I wonder if the ceremonies will be scheduled every month or every two months in early 2013? Maybe finally the Minister will achieve his "6 month" target this year. But I doubt it. :(

Hi,

Apologies if this has been answered before . How do I contact the naturalisation office. I've tried the numbers 06232500 and 1890252854 from their site with no avail. Also do they reply to emails. Kindly help.

I applied by Oct 2011 and got the first phase over letter by May 2012, but then no news after that.

Thanks,

I emailed them as well. Received answer in minutes, what in my understanding means they have the same answer for everyone. Copy/paste text

Initial processing team checks your application if it fulfils all the requirements of residency.

Further processing team send out request and collects reports from outside agency (garda , revenue etc).

Advance processing team prepares your file with all the reports from outside agency to be sent for final processing to the minister for his decision.
Not waiting any more

Seriously dissapointed i am.
So so long in this country paying bills and taxes, dont claim any welfare and still no response.
This is my home, this is where i live, this is where my family is, yet im treated unfairly, and feel discriminated at this stage.
I would probably get US citizenship quicker on basis that my great great great nana was american.

I was onto inis, usuall spoof: waiting for minister

I beleive next ceremony is in April

Why is Citizenship phone number/helpline still unavailable at the moment? No one can get through since this year!.. Have they ignored everybody?
