Does form SU07 also need to be submitted in case of applying spouse visa for wife from India?

Thanks

In addition, is there any other sponsorship document which might be required?
Reading in a post on this forum mentions some doc which says how you met your wife and for how long etc etc
Do we have a template for that?

Thanks

I was informed by the Entry Clearance Manager that they were still seeking to clarify whether the SU07 form is mandatory or not.

I would advise you to submit the form just in case.

I don't believe that it's mandatory for spouses.

I agree Vinny - as per the guidance, SU07 is not mandatory - but a lot of applications were rejected (post July 2012) and SU07 was mentioned as not submitted - so was mine. I wrote to the ECM asking whether it should be submitted if I was to reapply and he stated the below:
Until we get clarification on the matter, my recommendation is that you submit a completed SU07/12 with any future application.
