Tuberclosis Certificate

Post by m.j » Sun Feb 03, 2013 10:11 pm

Hi

with regards to the Tuberclosis Test certificate for a dependant spouse visa application from India (settlement), is it mandatory to submit the certificate with the application?
or can the application be submitted without the certificate and then the certificate can actually be carried when the spouse travels to UK.

Thanks

You need to submit the original and photocopy with the application. UKBA need to see that your partner is clear of TB. If you don't submit the certificate your application will be refused.

If and when the visa is granted then your partner will also need to carry it to the UK when they travel here.
