Family ties

Post by Jyde0608 » Tue Feb 05, 2013 3:53 pm

Hello all, wondered if any advice could be given...been here since 2004 on student (1st degree and Master)but now finishing off my PSW, Its a total of 8.5 years, started a family during this course with a baby of 15months..would it be reasonable to consider an application based on family ties/parent of a UK born child as all my other siblings and families are settled here(3 siblings with families)
It's a tough call, however does it worth risking and fighting for?

All comments welcomed

Better to look at alternatives, in your case.

Agree with wpilr. It might be worth considering getting into one more university course to extend your visa or finding an employer who can sponsor your tier 2 visa otherwise it might be a struggle.
Thanks!

Thanks guys for your comments, had Tier 1 ent visa as an option before but wouldn't be able to keep hold of 50k for that long, however I will look into the the tier 2 if there is still time to meet up.

Family route aepplications take long tim,to decide.. The chances of success are very difficult to predict.Try Tier 2 route. If you can get an Employer to sponsor you.

Good Luck.

When does your psw expire?

Also, when did you enter in 2004 (date)?
