Submitting OCI application by Spouse on my behalf

Hi,

I want to apply for my OCI card application and I have got the below questions:

1. Can my spouse submit my OCI application on my behalf at the High Commission of India?
2. Can my spouse collect my OCI card & British Passport on my behalf at the High Commission of India?

yes and yes *if* they can prove they are your spouse. Usually your old indian passports should suffice for that if Spouse is listed

Thanks ssachida. My old Indian passport does not contain my wife's name but my wife's Indian Passport contains my name as a spouse name. Is that OK?

carry marriage certificate to prove the relationship.

it's not a mandatory requirement to have spouse name endorsed in the passport, so not everyone has it on their passport.
