new born - british passport

Post by drpbalaji1960 » Sun Jul 14, 2013 5:12 pm

Hi All
I would be grateful if some one could advice me this please.

Myself and wife on ILR.

Plan to get british passport for my son.

is it best to use post office check and send service.

if so what are the documents I need and also what timescale would I get the passport back

Many thanks in advance.

Balaji.

my apologies if this question sounds very silly.

I presume your or your wife had ILR before your son was born. You need to fill up passport application and get that counter signed from a referee who have any professional standing. You will also need to send your or your wife's original passport with Bio-metric card along with child's birth certificate (I presume child was born in UK).
