Suspicious Email

Post by cisco3181 » Tue Jul 23, 2013 8:05 am

Hi All,

I have received this email from BEU Cardiff <BEU.Cardiff@ukba.gsi.gov.uk> and I am not sure if this is a genuine email or a spam. Reason for suspicion is that the location of my appointment is wrong.

Email is like this -

Subject: Your Visa Appointment On Friday 26th July 2013 at Cardiff PEO

Dear Customer,

Thank you for booking your appointment with the Cardiff PEO.

Please can you respond to this e-mail within the next 72 hours to confirm you are attending your appointment and tell us the following information:

1. The date and time of your appointment

2. Your full name and date of birth

3. The name the appointment was booked in

4. What type of Visa application you are applying for

5. If you have any dependants

6. Full names and date of birth of any dependants

Unfortunately due to high levels of demand for this service, failure to respond within 72 hours could result in the cancellation of your appointment.

If you are attending your appointment can you please bring photocopies of all your documents, Passports and Biometric Visa Cards (if applicable) with you.

Thank you

Regards

I am not sure if any one has received an email like this, but to be on safer side you can call or email Ukba customer service and confirm your appointment and also let them know about the email.
