Can child enter in the uk with foreign passport but having british citizenship certificate (through MN1) ?

If it's a non-EU passport and no valid visa (or bio card) stamped on passport then I really doubt any airline would even carry him/her! If there is valid visa then it shouldn't be a problem

The child should get a certificate of entitlement (click) if no valid visa and doesn't want/have time for a British passport.
