English Language Test Reuirement

Post by svtj » Fri Oct 04, 2013 1:46 pm

Advice needed, please
***********
The requirements for citizenship will change from the 28th of Oct. 2013! and my question is related to the english test, which will be an additional requirement effective from the 28th of Oct.

I am an EEA national and planning to apply for naturalization (form AN). I would like to understand/get clarification on, if I have an engineering degree (Masters), which was taught in English does that satisfy the english requirement or would I still need to take an English language test such as e.g. ESOL, IELTS if my application is submitted after 28.10.13,

Thanks a lot
:)

Hope to get some advice on this as I could not find any time on the home offices website.

Just for clarification the degree was obtained in EU and taught in English. I think it is clear if the degree is from UK then
