All April applicants post here pls ....

Post by vidya » Thu Apr 12, 2007 5:06 am

Hi

Im surprised that nobody has started this thread yet ....am i the first one to apply after the fee increase ?

Application sent by fedex from Bangalore , India - 11th April

Documents are expected to be delivered by monday ....

So , would there have been a big rush of applications in the last week of march prior to the fee increase ?? any delay in processing timelines expected because of that ?

Praying hard right now .....i finally applied after 2 years of procastination....

It's always safer to go for NARIC even though you know for sure that your degree is equivalent to UK degree.

venkat_vv,

I belive there is no need for you for NARIC certificate. Because, i saw some posts (Check NARIC database sticky) who has done their b.tech form osmania got approved.

I didn't go for naric i got approved. but i am not from osmania university.

Cheers,
niruv

Thank you for replying me to my question on my subject, vidya!

I have just sent my application yesterday and inquired regarding Bank Statement since y statement doesn't show full name of the company.
She sent me a quick resonse. How marvlous this forum could be!!!

vidya, could you let me know the their FAX number? so that once I get my employer's letter, I can contact them asap!
Also is there any specific advice on how I should state my request for additional evidence?

Thanks in advance!

Hi rising sun

sorry dont remember the fax number , i will have to refer the guidance notes , let me know if you are not able to find the fax number in the guidance notes and i'll post it here for you

Actually , they accept only original bank statements right ? so you may have to courier the originals to them , they may not accept faxed copies , ...ppl only fax their urgent treatment requests , with copy of offer letter ...but additional evidence has to be couriered , i think ....

Has your payment been debited yet ?????

vidya, is it the one on application page 2? (Fax number)

I have sent original bank statements but it doesn't show company full name. That's why I became worried unless they recognize the short code one.

About payment, no, I haven't received any confirmation.
Tricky thing is that, I am now out-of-country for a while.
So my application won't reach to UK for another few days, meaning they won't debit me yet.

Since I will have new additional evidence, which is a letter from employer, I'll have to send them by courier or something.
I am anxious if my additional document will be ready on time.

Shall I send them fax stating I will be sending additional evidence before I have a letter prepared?

Any advice??
