Business set-up query

My friend is looking to apply for UK Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa with funds of £200,000 in his UK bank account. His business plan is to buy a % of business from his family friend.

My questions:

Will my friend be allowed to buy a share in ongoing business or does he need to set-up a new business?

During extension of visa (3 years later), does he need to show 2 new people full time employed under his part of the business or can that be part of the entire business?

he can join an existing/running business and after 3y this shud add 2 new jobs in that business.

he cud start a new business as well.
