Hi this forum is really helpfull and thanks to everyone for helping to other people

I applied EEA4 7 NOV 2013 still waiting my COA. I got only letter from HO saying that thanks for your application please dnt contact us before 6 months bla bla bla. There is nothing about work rights. Any one please have idea why like this ?

Application take up to six months to be approved. You are only 3 weeks into what might amount to a waiting period of 26 weeks. Take up a hobby as, otherwise, you may get frustrated!

i know it will take 6 months or more to get result but i just want COA to give my employer, which should be by this time. Can i ring to HO to know why COA is not arrive yet. Any advice

i don't advice ringing up i had a bad experience with my eea4 so i reapplied for an eea2 now. sent 1/11, money out 2 days later and 5/11 got the acknowledgement letter. yet to receive our COA

you have any update about your EEA4 application?
I am with same situation
applied for PR(just EEA4) 29 Nov 2013 with out EEA3
Received only acknowledgment letter from HO.
my documents fully complete nothing missing.
so do I need to wait for 6 months?
Share yours view and experience here please .

Well 6 months is HO time where in some circumstances it could take more time but i read many people views that they got within 2 or 3 months so hope for the best.

We provided everything whatever we got in 5 years ( every single bills) pictures, p60 for both of us last 6 months pay slips
5 year bank history, our child birth certificate and both of us passports , travelling history.

Received my PR in just 2 months....

Post my EEA4 application on 29/11/2013
Home office Received Documents 30/11/2013
Received acknowledgement letter 05/12/2013
Received Certificate of application 30/12/2013
And finally Dream come true and received my Permanent Resident along with all my Documents in just 2 months and 5 days
on 05/02/2014
Home office speedup the processing time on application...
