Tier 1 Dependent visa extension

Hi,

Can some one reply to my questions please ?

"I shall be applying for my ILR in jan 14 under Tier 1 general category, my wife visa will expire on same day as mine. She will requires a visa extension as she have not been in uk for 2 years yet.

Can we both apply for my ILR and wife visa extension at same time in person? What form should i use for my wife visa extension i.e. PBS dependent or FLR(M) ?

Yes, use PBS Dependent.

If the PBS dependant's current leave will expire before he/she completes the qualifying period then the dependant can apply , before his/her current leave expires, to extend his/her PBS dependant leave until such time that he/she becomes eligible for settlement (319C and 319D ). Though switching to FLR(M) leave is also an option but extending PBS dependant leave is simpler (e.g. - only maintenance funds to be shown).
