British Passport Section 4-Prent"s details

There are 4 crosses,but I dont know what I need to cross.
Then First I need give all details about my mother,and then my father.
My father part away 35 years ago so I still need to tell they date of marriage??
My mum are married 2cond time.
And what they asking for a grandparents??/
Where I need to fill this???
More I dont know my father parents,just my mum parents.
Its so confused.

Cross two boxes on the left hand side.

Just write Mother's and Father's details in the boxes. Leave marriage details blank.

Naturalised citizens do not need parent's marriage details and no need for grandparents details either.
