Tier 1 Dependent Query regarding maint funds

I need information regarding Tier 1 dependent visa for my wife who is in India. Can she show the maintenance funds in her fathers account name(in India) for Visa? or does it have to be my or my wife's account only?

It has to be in your name, not in your FIL's name.
