Did you get ILR or a sticker called ILE (I live in England) :D
You Can Apply after 1 year from Oct 2013 i.e Oct 2014.
Remember not to exceed 90 days outside UK in this period.
cheers

If the OP has ILR/ILE, then there is no need to wait.

How was it obtained?

on guide 2.1 it says:=
Enter the day you frst arrived with a view to staying in the UK on a long-term basis, and the airport or seaport through which you then entered. If this is less than 5 years before the date on which we receive the application, or less than 3 years before this date if you are married to or the civil partner of a British citizen, you might not meet the residence requirement (see pages 4 and 5 of the Booklet AN) and your application may be unsuccessful.

I think I can apply now. right?
if I have to submit 5 yrs document what doc should I show?
I had done life in uk. so do I need to give english test aswell?
thanks for ur reply. appreciate
:P

Are you from an English speaking country? If not then you must provide evidence of your English language level as set out on page 13 of the AN guidance http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... ide_an.pdf. The link Vinny provided outlines the other documents you will need to submit as part of your application.
