British Passport needs to be valid for BC?

Hi,

I need to know that if your partner's British passport has to be valid when you apply for the BC? Can you apply for BC with your partner's expired passport or it should be renewed first and be valid when applying?

Doesn't need to be valid. You can also submit a naturalisation certificate or birth certificate to show the partner is BC.

Yes. Doesn't make her/him less British if the passport is expired.
