Applying for ILR Tire1(G) Earning Question

Post by Tire1Questions » Mon Apr 28, 2014 10:35 am

Hi there,
I am on Tire 1(G) visa and going to apply for ILR in August 2014.
I am a director of a (my own) ltd company and bought a commercial property in Dec 2013 which I let out to my own ltd company. I am charging a rent of £1200 per month from the company. Can I add this rental income to my total income when applying for extension.

In the guidance notes (link: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... ction1.pdf ) on page 44 it clearly mentions that: "income from property rental, where this forms part of the applicant’s business" CAN BE added to to make up the total income. Or does Home Office means its only for letting companies?

Can someone please advise if I am missing something.
