May 2014 Extension changes

Post by rehanann » Tue Jun 03, 2014 11:25 am

I have 2 questions:-

1. I have granted Tier1 General on Jan 2011 and my family got tier1 general dependent Apr 2011.
I came UK on Feb 2011 which is right after a month of my tier1 visa issued, and my wife and children arrived in UK on Nov 11 2011 and the first extension due in all our passport is Jan 2013.
I have got the Tier1 extension on Feb 2013 to Feb 2016.

my question is since my family arrived on Nov 2011 and they didnt complete their 5 years stay in uk till Jan 2016 so can I apply for ILR for them on Dec 2015?
or do i have to apply the extension again for them before Apr 2015 due to the new policy?
but according to the old rule of Tier1 general dependent stay 2 years with main applicant?

2. 180 days rule for ILR, I have granted Tier1 General on Jan 11 2011,
due to the 90 days policy first time I arrived in UK on 6 Feb 2011 and stay till 11 Feb 2011.
then came back on May 25 2011 and stay upto 6 July 2011.
then came to 29 July and then not leaved.

please i need some help regarding this question, i was staying outside UK more then 90 days from 12 Feb 2011 to 25 may 2011 which is 99 days, will this absence impact anything in my ILR application?

Please respond regarding my both questions.

1. They can apply for ILR with you.

2. You will not be affected, you can stay upto 180 days in any 12 month period. Read -> https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... riod-in-uk
