EC in July/August

Hi,

Has anyone got EC in June End ot July? Or has there been any movement on the Integra Verification (in terms of contacting the employer / university)?

Will request you guys to post the timelines here. I applied for EC on 28th June but neither my employer/ nor the University has been contacted as yet. I know its a bit early to become restless,but I just wanted to know about the timelines....

I've applied on 27th June from Hyd. Awaiting the result. Not got any intimation of a verification done at my office.

Requesting other applicants to update us on the Integra Verifiation.

Sai, please keep us posted on the progress. My employer/ university has not been contacted as yet

and it has been 6 working days already since I submitted my application.

My employer was contacted on the 6th working day, and the responses sent back to Integra. Currently 9 working days over.

Guys an update:

Got a news from a friend (on another forum) that his EC has been approved. The timelines:

Applied 25th June
Integra Contact with Employer: In 7 days
Contact with University: Not known
EC issued: 10th July 2007

So things seem to be moving at BHC India too

ikon1400 when did you apply for EC? Any updates on your Integra Verification process?

Hi Push_hsmp,

I havent applied yet for my EC. My fiances case got approved after a review. so waiting for her docs

Moreover its better to "weather the storm" rather fighting it. I mean i will see for another 15 days from now with the happenings in Embassies. Wil plan for applying somewhere in Aug 1st weeek.

I will keep close eye on ths thread here after

Do they(Embassy guys) update the info in vfs site or straight way courier guy will bring our docs?

They (VFS) update it the day receive decision from BHC. The courier is sent the same day.

Hello All,

I applied for EC at VFS Hyderabad on 29th June. VFS website is showing status as "Application has been forwarded to the British High Commission".

Is there any way to check the status from BHC like do they have any helpline like Home Office?

Also, can we check the status of integra verification in integra website?will they update after the verification done?

any inputs reg. this will be a great help?

When did you apply for EC? Please keep us updated about the INTEGRA verification process.

My timelines:

Applied at Delhi on 28th June
Integra contact with employer: 9th July
Integra contact with University: Not Yet (No idea)

I applied for my visa on 29th June from Delhi.
Don't know whether integrascreen contacted my employer/university or not. I don't think I can check it also in my office or univ.
The wbsite for UK visas say forwarded to British High Commission on 29th. No status after that.

Sorry for diverting the post topic but need help

I planning to apply for my EC from bangalore in 10 days time. Have some small doubts

1) For accomodation, I am planning to ask my indian friend (who has been working in UK for the last 2 yrs in UK based company) for the accomodation letter. Is it recommended or should I book a hotel?

2) If its fine, what all docuements he should give me, example his telephone bills,Driving License etc as address proof or what else? Is (Indian) passport copy required?

3) I am maintaining two bank accounts and my major chunk of money is there in the account other than my salary account. Can I show both my bank account statements?

4)I am showing about 5050 GBP (about 4,30,000INR) as my saving in bank, Do i need to find/show any sponsor in UK/India (though i dont have any) ? Is it required?

Please clear my doubts.

How many days will it take to get back the documents? any time line

Congratulations!!

It should reach you by tomorrow. You can call up BHC and they will tell you about the decision. You can also call up VFS- they will give you the courier agency name and tracking number.

Can you please provide the timelines? When and where did you submit the application? When were your employer and university contacted etc. It will help us in roughly estimating the time it will take BHC to clear our application.

Integra has not submitted the verification report to BHC as yet. They verified with the employer on 9th. I dont know if they have contacted the University.

Seems that the wait is going to be long for me. Keep us updated guys.
