Nationality born abroad to british Citizen

Hi ,

I have a query. My friend (born in Pakistan) came to UK and naturalized. He is British citizen now. he moved abroad last year, and got a child born abroad this year. Will the child be British citizen by born?

If your friend was British when the child was born, the child will be British by Descent.
