Tier 4 Student Visa Extension in UK

Hi,

I am asking this on behalf of my brother who had recently applied for the extension about a month ago by post.

Currently what is the timescale and what is the procedure these days?

It has been long since I have been in touch with these student immigration rules.

I have been reading about these interviews? When did they start doing that?

There is no fix standards its very case to case
