How many visa applications reqd for family of 4?

For a UK family visitor visa.

2 adults / 2 under 5s.

4 separate applications? With 4 separate email addresses to create 4 accounts? Or will one main application suffice?

You don't need to create 4 accounts - just one one account will suffice and then select the option to 'create application on someone else's behalf'.

The UK Visa reply is correct. You will need to submit 4 applications. My previous reply was related to the account creation - so for 4 applications you don't need to create 4 separate accounts onto the online visa portal. You can create just one acct and then and submit 4 applications from it.

But having created 1 account & application & having submitted it without realising we had to generate 3 others from it, its too late to go back & do this as you cannot amend it once submitted.

Have to say the application process is a farce! It took 9-10 hours to complete 4 applications because of the repetition involved.

For Eg. The applicant is asked if anyone is travelling with hem - they state YES & have to list who, and ALL their personal details....and then they are asked the same details 2-3 times further in...and when you state where you are going to stay in the UK, you have to add their details 4 times!!

Daily Mail should be told how difficult it is to come here for a 2 week visit!
