Evidence of residence of the last 5 years

Post by daramed » Tue Mar 17, 2015 11:14 am

As an EEA member I acquired PR some years ago. 1.5 years ago I decided to take time off from work for a little while. What evidence can I provide showing that I was legally living in the UK during that time ... or should I provide any evidence at all as it says there they want passport. I don't see how my passport would prove I was in the UK but what else can I give them. After acquiring PR do I still need to explain myself from the last 1.5 years?

You don't need to provide evidence when applying, your passport should be enough.
If HO requires further evidence they will ask for it.
I am sometimes wrong.
