MN1 Application

Post by kunal parikh » Tue Mar 17, 2015 9:17 pm

Hi Guys

I have recently received my naturalization and my ceremony is booked for 7th April 2015. I am looking to apply for my child (3 years) using MN1 form under section 3(1) ( child born outside UK). My wife is on ILR.

My question is what documents do we need in support of application:

1) MN1 form
2)Birth Certificate
3)Child's passport
4) copy of Naturalization Certificate (Father's naturalisation copy??)
5) copy of father's passport
6)copy of mother's BRP & passport
7) anything else??

I just want to confirm we can send copy of naturalisation as I will need this for my passport application? I am looking to do postal application.

I will appreciate your help and advise.

Thanks
Kunal

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

Yes we all got ILR last year in Feb 2014. I have received my naturalisation this year. My wife has to wait few more months as she had a gap for 9 months due to pregnancy complications and so she stayed back in India for delivery. she has been in country since Oct 2010. I believe she can apply naturalisation as spouse of british citizen.

Our baby was delivered in India. I just wanted to apply MN1 form under section 3(1). I am looking to do postal applications so just want to check what documents I need. I believe photo copies are fine?

Please advise.

Thanks
Kunal

I assume the child is in the UK when the application is being submitted.
