ILR Scenario - PBS Main applicant only

Post by jatinuk » Sat Mar 21, 2015 4:45 pm

Hi,

Background:
PBS main Tier 1G
Granted visa on Dec 2009, enter to UK on 23 April 2010 (Can't have 28 days comfort).
I have applied for extension twice which is going to expire on Dec 2016.
My Wife (as PBS Dependent) is with me from Feb 2011 (10 Months after I came to UK).

Going to complete exactly 5 years on 24 April 2015. So I think I can go for ILR for myself (main applicant).

Is it possible to apply for myself alone in this April 2015 & later after an year for my family(wife & kid) as we all have visa till Dec 2016.

One more reason, as I have my LIUK done & My wife still preparing for LIUK & IELTS.

I am thinking about this option as clearly it will save me money to book my PEO appointment before fee rise & to avoid any rule change pits.

Can guru or anyone who have crossed the shore using similar boat; please help me to advice if is it a feasible option?

Thanks
Jatin

Thanks Char

I read some post about dependent have to switch to FLR.
I think that does not apply to my dependents application as they are already PBS tier 1 dependents.
Q. Can you please advise on above ?

Q. Which form I need should use for me now and them later.

Sorry for such basic question but it will really clarify doubts.

Thanks in advance.
