Urgent Help Needed from Seniors( Full time Employment )

Post by naveencandy8 » Thu Apr 30, 2015 10:45 pm

Hi Seniors

I need a urgent help in regards to an employment which we need for our extension. I just want to know about the fixed salary amount. Is it possible we can pay minimum wages as a fixed salary like £850 per month which covers 30 hr weekly employment and minimum wages.

One of my friend said we have to pay at least more than £14k for a full time employment.

Please seniors help me so I can start looking for my employment. I have limited period to setup employment. Please help me

Thanks
Naveen

Looks to me if you did pay an employee 850£/ month, this would be 10,200£/year. As I understand from the policy guidelines you need to employee 2 full time employees for 1 year or 1 full time for 2 years. This would mean that 10,200*2 = 20,400. Therefore I think this would be how much you need to invest in your employees. Hope others agree with me or maybe there is another perspective on this ?

In my understanding there is not any restrictions on how much you pay to your employee, as long as you are not paying them below national minimum rate. if you were initial T1 Ent than you can pay 1 employee 24 months £850 (outside London) or 2 employees (30 h/p/w) for 12 months £850 etc..... please do not confuse other members about some thing which does not exists in policy guidance at all. hope this helps

Senior Members , do you agree with me???

Yes agree! As long you are paying minimum wages. It should be fine. 30 hrs per week or 130 per month if you monthly to your employee i.e 130x6.50=845. There is no need to pay high salary. Home office is looking after number of hours created.

May be £14K because of employer and employee national insurance, liabilities add up.
Is it okay if just pay direct at minimum wage?
