ILR for Tier 2 (G) Dependents

Post by tier2ilr » Wed May 13, 2015 10:00 am

Hi

Main applicant received the Tier 2 (G) on Dec 2012.Spouse and 2 kids along with main applicant came UK in Dec 2012. The whole family is in UK since that date and living together.

My question is
On completion of 5 years will the whole family be eligible for ILR or not?

Some one informed me that dependants need to wait another 5 years to be eligible for ILR.

Please confirm.

Yes

Only applicable if the Tier 2 main applicant applies for ILR based on long residence. Then family will have to switch to FLR(M) for a further 5 years.
