schengen visa medical insurance

My father has a plan to visit Paris in Aug and Nov during his uk visit for about six months. when they apply for schengen visa do they have to get two different medical insurance to cover the paris trip or do they have to show medical cover for uk and paris between aug to nov.

I presume that he has appropriate medical coverage as a part of his travel insurance for the trip to the UK.

Check the terms of the travel insurance. If it is valid for a period of time and not limited by the number of trips, I would say that you can use the same details.
