I think those who claim that they are successful at 40 points do not know exactly about their point calculating. Apart from ur base salary, CoS salary also includes allowance, bonus, London weighing factor, pro-rated of ur salary to 39hrs/ 40hrs...etc...These factors increase their point to 45, not 40.

Its probably some other reason. May be rlmt is not done properly or they have some other reservations. Check the mail which ukba sent they must have mentioned some other reasons.

Can you please explain what is the difference between salary calucated at 39 hours for RCoS
AND the "actual salary" payable for 37.5 hours/week which is advertised in the post?

I need to understand :
Is the salary calculated at 39 hours/week for the RCoS?
OR
Is the salary calculated at 37.5 hours/week for RCoS ( as it is advertised in the post )?

Thanks

40 points and refused in July, Trying hard to convince my employer to re-submit , Hard to convince employer to re-submission in my case do not know if it is the same for everyone?

and I do think that June July is Peak and Points will go back to 32 in August.

I hope you're right! I think and hope that they go back to 32 - it is not fair with anyone who has gotten this far after such a bureaucratic process. I am at 40 myself and have been refused in June and July. Have you seen any predictions online?

I read your analysis on another thread and i agree with you pretty much.

And also, have you noticed that less applicants score lower than 40 based on those who shared their points here. So I'm wondering if the cut-off point would be as high as 45/50 or as usual as 32 in August.

But that's totally my guess.

It will be all speculation until panel sits down and control our life once again unfortunately , But around less than 100 or so people are posting here that is less than 10% of the people who will be applying so the points and number of people posting here says very little about the cut off points in August. Even if I assume there are not many applicant below 40 points this technically only increase the chances of cut off being at 40, I am very optimistic but again you know the system is put in place to reduce net migration even if they have job offer which indirectly is discrimination on basis of nationalities (Yes, in space age). But Goverment has their own ways of using nice words such as "Border control" to come across as saviours of people.

That being said , still hopeful at 40 and thinking about every one at points 32 , the feeling that there are slim chances to get R-CoS is because you do not earn much, that is beyond any decent contemplation and Policy makers should be ashamed of that.

they will take into account the exact salary that is mentioned in the advertisement and contract (they do not do the calculations for you) , more specifically when you apply for RCoS through SMS management , the one step is in to fill in your salary whatever salary information you provide in that step will be taken in consideration. If HO panel have some doubts they will ask for further documents like your contract to confirm salary , but no one calculates it for you , it is on the job advertisement and on contract already.

hope that clarifies

Reapplying in August also with 40 - may the force be with us all! Third time now but thankfully my employer is keen to try again. Seems like theres going to be such a large backlog of 40's though in this allocation :/
