Entry Visa "X" or Tourist Visa "T" for India

Hello Folks,

Myself and & my wife are on ILR and our son (born in UK) held Indian passport in past but now have British passport. We have to travel India urgently, Can I apply Entry visa "X" type for my son instead of "T" Tourist visa? Is there any special requirement in terms of documents for entry visa?
