extension applicant bank statement or bank letter?

HI,
just reading the tier1 guidance and application form for extension.

in guidance they said:

A letter from the UKregulated
bank, on its headed
paper, confirming that
the company has a bank
account and you are a
signatory of that account.

but in form they say

Business bank account you are a signatory of and showing a transaction.

my question here is if i submit a bank letter showing account balance and myself as a signatory does it fulfill the requirement or do I need to submit the bank statement as well?
reason for question is bank statement will not show signatory details and bank letter will not show transaction details ( as asked in the form)

I think the bank letter and statement will tick this criteria.
