Renew Annual Cos Allocation or Request an Additional Cos

Hi Gurus and Everyone,

Will appreciate your early response on this. My Tier 2 extension is due this year September. My employer HR is confused whether they need to request annual allocation of COS (currently they have 0 allocation of COS) for me which will be valid from April 2016 or should they request an additional cos some time in July/August.

Can some one guide me on this please?

Hi, I think you should go for Annual COS allocation.

Your question is already answered by tida2004.
Annual allocation is better as it is allocated in the month of April (i presume) so as to make sure your employer has the stock of COS when it's required to be assigned.
I have seen in last few threads, many had applied for additional CoS and they were not getting it for more than 2 to 3 months or more. Hope that helps.

Hi, It seems my company is currently making changes to their SMS and updating few company details. Can they assign any existing allocations/ unused COS to me after the company details are updated ?
