ILR 10 Year Long Residence - Break ?

Post by mahiku » Sat Jan 23, 2016 9:36 pm

Hello,

My student visa was expiring on 30-10-2011. Before the expiry of visa, I applied for PSW visa 11 days before on 19-10-2011.

During 19-10-2011 to 02-12.2011, my PSW visa application was in process. I got my PSW visa on 02-12-2011. It is 32 days after my student visa expired.

As my visa expired on 30-10-2011 and my PSW visa was issued on 02-12-2011, what was my status during my visa process?

Does it come under legal stay or illegal stay? Is it going to cause any issue for my 10 years ILR process?

Thanks

Thank you for prompt reply.

Do I need to mention this in cover letter?

Don't think so, your status is as per your last grant while your new application is being processed even though it may expire during this process.
