Signing date on passport

My naturalisation application has been approved but not attended the ceremony yet but I want to ask one question
1. Does the signing date on the passport from signatory has to be after ceremony date or he can put any date before ceremony date?
Actually I don't know my ceremony date yet but I want my signatory to sign my passport form.
