Family member of EEA/EU citizen visa (spouse) Austria

I am British citizen and planning to apply for Schengen C visa at Austrian embassy next week in Erbil (Kurdistan-Iraq). I have job offer and address in Austria .Just to clarify few questions before I apply.
1-when I apply, the purpose of the visit should I say holiday or exercise of treaty?
2- Beside of the following documents any other documents needed?
• Non EU passport
• Copy of EU passport
• Married certificate (English translated and verified )
• Travel insurance
• Flight ticket
• Hotel booked (air bnb room rented)

Isn't your spouse who is supposed to apply for the visa?

i am in the same situation i have spoken with one of stuff from erbil visa global, he doesn't got a clue what i am on about. please tel us any updating.

My wife and child applied for schengen visa last week and got 1 year multiple entry visa through French embassy.Going on holiday to france for 1 week.

Me: naturalised british citizen/working in Uk
Wife&child: indian nationals on dependant spouse visa
Application: through anyvisa ltd( recommended on french embassy website)
Application: non eea parter joining/travelling with Eu citizen in france
Documents: my original Uk passport, wife and child passport/ biometric card, original marriage and child birth certificate( not apostilled).eurostar tickets/ hotel stay booking in france.
Fee: visa fee:0£,agency fee 45,tlscontact fee 51£
Time: passport returned in 72 hours
