HELP! 2 months gap to complete 10 years.

Hello everyone,
I have read many posts here like my case.
but I am still not really sure what i should do.

I have been here in uk nearly 10 years, but not quite yet.I am short for 2 months.
I came here as a student. and now i have Tier 1 General visa.

Based on my research here, maybe i should extend tier 1 and vary to 10 year ILR after 2 months.
but I am not eligible to extend my tier 1 as I haven't hired anyone, or invested money i supposed to do last three years.

Would it be still okay to go for extending tier1 even though it will be rejected as i will extend tier 1 to just make up the 2 months time?

if it would be okay. how should i fill the form where they ask if i have invested money or hire people?

OR if i need to extend to something else ( not tier 1), which one should i go for?

T1G has no requirement to hire people.

What makes you think They would not want to know if you have complied with your T1E conditions while you were T1E?

In that case, Epic Fail, go to jail, do not pass go, do not collect £200.....

Applying under long residence doesn't absolve you from meeting the conditions of your Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa. Slightly concerning that you referred to it originally as Tier 1 General.

I know.. But i thought 10years ilr is about just based on lenth of stay in london. I have a bussines..

Is there anyway i can get around it please..?

Long residence still requires complying with the terms of your visa, not on how long you can hang around in London...or any other city in the UK!

I aware that my case is against the rule. but i didn't mean to..i had an investor in the beginning and he pulled out when i was going to invested the fun on my company. But i genuinely running a bussiness that making small profit.
