Schengen visa C received with incorrect dates

Hi All,

i have received a schengen visa C from portugese embassy, however i am going for 6 days and they have 5 days mentioned on the visa. Validity of the visa is for 30 days

Visa form had all 6 days but i am not sure why they gave me for 5 days only.

Anyways my question is , do i need to return in 5 days or can i stay 6 days because my flights and all bookings are done based on 6 days.

can someone tell me if i should go back to portugese consulate as it's their error. will i be committing a crime if i stay 1 more day as requested in the initial application.

What is the No. indicated by "Duration of Stay"?

No : 1

Nothing under duration of stay, it only says 5 near duration of stay

and 1 as the no of entries

How did you count 6 days as your stay?

What time do you arrive into the Schengen region and on what date?

What time do you depart from the Schengen region and on what date?

I go on the 05TH June (morning) and return on 10TH june (evening)

My question is whether i will be committing a crime by staying 1 more day , as i had requested that.

unfortunately no one replies on the phone and email replies take 10 days.

Finally the embassy corrected the dates and apologized for the error.

Always check your dates !
