Absence letter from Employer

Post by nikitasha8 » Thu May 26, 2016 9:36 am

Hi All,

My employer is happy to do a letter confirming that I have taken paid annual leave in last 5 years with the dates but those dates will vary from when I actually left country and returned back. I would have usually have left the country in weekend or Fridays but employer will only confirm the date that starts from following Monday annual leave would start from Monday. I am applying on Tier 1 basis and all my holidays were to India visiting family but none of the holidays have been more than 90 days. I hope I have explained it well but below is the example.

Actual start date and end date of when I was out of country:

1. 23-Jul-2012 to 03-Aug-2012: Annual Leave
2. 02-Jan-2014 to 29-Mar-2014: Holiday & Maternity
3. 28-Aug-2014 to 10-Nov-2014: Maternity
4. 30-Apr-2015 to 26-May-2015: Annual Leave
5. 05-Nov-2015 to 20-Dec-2015: Annual Leave

and what employer will confirm

1. 23rd July 2012 to 3rd August 2012: Annual Leave
2. 13th December 2013 to 3rd February 2014: Annual Leave
3. 4th February 2014 to 10-Nov-2014: Maternity Leave
4. 5th May 2015 to 26th May 2015: Annual Leave
5. 9th November 2015 to 25th November 2015: Annual Leave
6. 26th November 2015 to 20th December 2015 : paid sick leave when in India

I only work from Mon-Thur and always fly out of either Thur (by making up hours in 3 days) or Friday

Hello,

You haven't quite asked a question- have you ? :D

Please see the letter I submitted at the end of this thread:
http://www.immigrationboards.com/indefi ... l#p1342043

Your employer can only give you leave on the days you are supposed to work ( I had a similar situation with letter from my prev. employer, having worked part-time). Therefore your employer needs to state what your work pattern is ( ex: Mon- wed) in the letter.

Hope this helps.
