Business must be subjected to United Kingdom taxation

Post by Mrchaany » Fri Jun 10, 2016 9:17 pm

Dear users,

Directors of the companies must provide the following documents for extension.

Business must be registered for corporation tax and you must provide documentation
from HMRC) which confirms this. For example, form CT41G from HMRC or a
completed HMRC tax return document showing the tax reference number for the
company. If the reporting is done online, you should provide a printout of the form
and sign it as correct.

so i believe only CT41G can suffice the above requirement. If someone is not able to provide that documents so they can provide CT600 online printout via an accountant. so it means that not all years of annual accounts CT600 is required.

regards

Yes

Guidance says 1 document only to show that business is subject to UK taxation. It could be CT600 or CT41G. Friend of mine only attached CT600 for the last year and that was accepted by home office.

A UK business:

1. Has a UK registered address (Incorporation certificate from companies house or CAR)
2. Has UK business bank account (send business bank statements)
3. Registered for CT (send CT600)
